You – the authorised representative who uses the www.my-meeting-space.com
application
Your- reference to you, the authorised representative who
uses the www.my-meeting-space.com application
Access to, and use of, this application
is provided by Acumen Insights Ltd, subject to the following
Terms and Conditions:
Use of the application
Use of this application constitutes
your acceptance of these terms and conditions, which take
effect immediately on your first use of the application.
Acumen Insights Ltd reserves the right to change these terms
and conditions at any time by posting changes online.
This application is provided for authorised
persons only and any unauthorised access is a breach of
these terms and conditions.
All design and content of the online
application remains the property and copyright of Acumen
Insights Ltd and is provided on a hosted basis (unless contractual
terms and conditions are otherwise agreed).
Any person accessing the site cannot
hold Acumen Insights Ltd or its personnel responsible for
injury or loss caused by reliance on the information provided
in the web site.
Acumen Insights Ltd reserve the right
to withdraw functions and services available currently or
in the future without notice if deemed necessary.
Privacy statement
Acumen Insights Ltd take reasonable steps to protect your
personally identifiable information (such as email address)
as you transmit your information from your computer to our
application and to protect such information from loss, misuse,
and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
Acumen Insights Ltd adopts and adheres
to the United Kingdom Data Protection Act 1998. All users
of this application must also adhere to these principles
and standards. You, your suppliers, your authorised personal
or your delegates cannot hold Acumen Insights Ltd responsible
for any breach information privacy conducted by non Acumen
Insights personnel.
Payment
Following the end of the 30 day free trial period, the following
payment terms become enforceable:
- Delegate registration fees are £4
per delegate input into the www.my-meeting-space.com application
either by the delegate registration facility or via the
‘Delegate’ services of www.my-meeting-space.com.
- Payment is due within 20 days at the end of the relevant
meeting for which the delegates have been input. Acumen
Insights Ltd will advise you (or you’re www.my-meeting-space.com
main contact) of the number of registrations for the relevant
meeting and submit an invoice detailing the number of delegates,
the net price, vat amount and total amount payable.
- Payment for the relevant invoice can be made by cheque
or direct payment / bank transfer.
- If not delegates are input for a particular meeting then
no payment is due for that meeting.
- If a meeting is cancelled then payment for all delegates
currently input into www.my-meeting-space.com for that meeting is
due within 20 days of the cancellation date.
- You are obliged to inform Acumen Insights Ltd of cancelled
meetings within 5 days of the cancellation date.
- All invoices are due for payment within 20 days of the
date of the meeting for which the registration fees apply.
Non payment or continuous delayed payment will mean Acumen
Insights will remove your organisations access to www.my-meeting-space.com.
Initial advice of non-payment or continuous delayed payments
will be made twice. A final notification will then be issued
stating the date of www.my-meeting-space.com access withdrawal.
No obligation 20 day free trial
Acumen Insights Ltd offer a 30 day free trial of www.my-meeting-space.com
with no obligation on your behalf to continue using the
application following the end of the free trial period.
The free trial period commences on the
day that the first www.my-meeting-space.com account for your organisation
is created. At the end of the 30 day period, the user account(s)
created for your organisation will remain active and from
this point onwards the payment terms and conditions apply.
During the 30 day free trial period
you have the right to cancel your account and request that
any information already input into the www.my-meeting-space.com
application is removed. This action must be completed by
contacting Acumen Insights Ltd (support@acumen-insights.com)
by email stating your requirement to cancel the account.
Acumen Insights Ltd, with then (within 10 working days)
cancel your account and remove any associated data.
Your organisation is entitled to only
one 30 day free trial, unless otherwise agreed in advanced
by Acumen Insights that additional free trail periods are
allowed.
Data rights
and management
Although Acumen Insights Ltd has made reasonable endeavours
to ensure that information contained on this application
is correct, it is possible the information may be incomplete,
contain errors or be out of date. You should verify any
information obtained from this application before acting
upon it.
Any meeting specific data entered in
www.my-meeting-space.com (including supplier details, delegate details,
user account details and procurement details are owned by
you. Access to this data is provided through the www.my-meeting-space.com
application only by your designated personal. No other party
will access this data without your express permission.
During times of www.my-meeting-space.com maintenance
cycles and application upgrades Acumen Insights Ltd may
deem it necessary to access and make backups of your meeting
data. Upon completion of maintenance cycles and application
upgrades any backed up will be destroyed.
Acumen Insights Ltd reserves the right
to abstract data from the system to use for trend analysis,
user management and application improvement. Any data used
for this requirement will not include any identifiable information
of delegates, suppliers, users, payments or purchases conducted
within your meetings.
Cancellation of services
Following the end of the 30 day free
trial period, the following cancellation terms apply:
1. You may cancel
your user account at any time by advising Acumen Insights
Ltd by email (support@acumen-insights.com).
Following receipt of the email Acumen Insights Ltd will
remove your account access within 10 working days.
2. If you wish to cancel the use of www.my-meeting-space.com
for your entire organisation, you may do so by giving 30
days notice. Upon receipt of the cancellation notice Acumen
Insights will instigate the cancellation of your organisation’s
access to the application at the end of the 30 days notice.
3. All outstanding invoices are due within 20 days of the
end of the cancellation period.
4. Acumen Insights Ltd reserves the right to withdraw access
to and provide the use of www.my-meeting-space.com for you
and your representatives by giving 30 days notice. This
notice period does not apply in situations of non payment
or continuous payment whereby the above payment conditions
apply.
